Disability Rights in North America
What we need to know and what we can do to help
People with disabilities are often overlooked and exploited even in modern times. A majority of those with physical disabilities run the risk of being harmed even with all of the protection services available. What needs to be brought into attention is how we as a society can help change how the disabled are treated as well as aiding in the creation of more protection services.

Even today, nearly twenty percent of disabled people in the U.S. still face economic unfairness and nearly 65% have reported hate speech and harassment

We can fund many organizations that work towards protecting those with disabilities, as well as go out of our way to stigmatize hate speech.
